Gene Lolli - President of Board

Fairborn School Superintendent Gene Lolli is in his 30th year in education. He began his career in education as a teacher in the Middletown City Schools, and then moved into administration serving as a high school principal in the Field Local Schools, Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools, Hudson City Schools, and Fairborn City Schools.  

As Fairborn Schools’ Superintendent, Mr. Lolli has had great success so far in numerous areas, including passage of a new bond issue at a large positive percentage, opening a new primary building, starting construction of a new intermediate building, increased test scores, raising the State Report Card by a whole letter grade, expanded curricular opportunities, and excellent labor relations, all while increasing the financial stability of the school district.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and a Master’s degree from The University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio.  Lolli is married to his wife, Elizabeth, who is Superintendent of the Dayton Public Schools.  They have two sons, Matthew and Benjamin.
