About Fairborn FISH Food Pantry

To relieve hunger in our community, the Fairborn FISH Food Pantry provides food and personal care items at no cost to our neighbors who are in need of food assistance. Not only do we provide canned and shelf stable foods, we also offer fresh items like meat, dairy products, eggs, and produce. The food pantry is one of the only pantries to provide personal care items to our clients. This list of items includes diapers, toiletries, and some cleaning products. The food pantry volunteers recognize the dignity of all people and believe food is an essential right.

Food Insecurity

According to Feeding America’s Annual “Map the Meal Survey,” the Fairborn FISH Food Pantry immediate area is located in a food desert, where 15% of the population is without vehicles and are more than ½ mile from a supermarket. Need in this area is higher than average due to increased poverty rates and food deserts.

Fairborn FISH has been serving the community for more than 50 years. Ending hunger will allow our neighbors to do better in school, be more productive at work and live healthier lives.
